Leeds Ion Channel Workshop

Since 1999 we have organised the annual Leeds Ion Channel Workshop each September.  The Workshop provides introduction to the biology of ion channels followed by intensive coverage of the basic theory, potential artefacts and hands-on experience of whole-cell patch-clamp, single channel recording, planar patch-clamp, bioimaging, two-electrode voltage-clamp, and sharp electrode methodology.  Participants also receive training in data handling and presentation.
